Morris Garages is already prepared to launch the mid-life update for its 2019 debut model; Hector, making sure to not let the bestseller tag slip away. Regarding the launch date for Nepal, we have predicted earlier that the facelift model is likely to arrive in the country somewhere around mid-2021. However, it is purely based on assumption and Paramount Motors Private Limited, the authorized sole dealer of MG Motors in Nepal, is yet to confirm the news.

What we have for you today are the exclusive pictures of the SUV’s cabin and key details it features. Expect the new Hector with a revamped cabin with a new, beige, and black dual-tone interior. Not a fan of this combination? Worry not! The existing single tone all-black interior will also continue to be on offer as an option. Furthermore, the facelift receives additional features like a wireless phone charger, along with ventilated seats for both the driver and front passenger.
MG has considered only subtle changes for the facelift version i.e. a revised grille with horizontal slats sitting between the high-set LED daytime running lights and newly-designed alloy wheels which are expected to come in larger designs measuring 17 to 18-inches. Besides these, you can expect all other design factors pretty much the same as the existing model.
For the top-end trims, the facelift will be equipped with a 7.0-inch MID, push-button start/stop, mood lighting in 8 colors, a 60-degree view camera, 6-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat, 4-way electrically adjustable co-driver seat, a panoramic sunroof, 8 speakers, internet connectivity via SIM card, and many more.
Mechanically, the 2021 Hector is powered by the same 1.5L turbocharged petrol (140bhp), 2.0L diesel (170bhp), and 1.5L petrol with a mild hybrid system mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox as standard.
