2021 Nissan Leaf EV Receives no Major Changes

Making the global debut in Japan in December 2010, Nissan Leaf is all geared up to launch in Nepal. Pioneer Moto Corp, the authorized distributor of Nissan in Nepal is set to launch its Nissan Leaf Electric Vehicle in Nepal by early 2021. The launch was postponed by the company earlier due to the government excise duty hike on Electric Vehicles. However, the first Mass Marketed Electric Vehicle and also the Global Leader in the EV market is now ready to roll down in Nepalese road.

The Nissan Leaf enters a new model year, 2021 and it does not carry many changes compared to the existing models. However, there is a slight increase in price. What this EV holds is a bold character with advanced features such as, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto smartphone compatibility, an 8.0-inch touchscreen, and 16-inch alloy wheels.

The Nissan leaf either gets powered by a 40 kWh battery pack with 147 hp of power and 240 km of range or a 62 kWh battery pack giving 214 hp of power and 363 km of range. There is a fast charging option available that rises the percentage to 80% in just 40 minutes and comes with the e-Pedal technology which allows for driving with a single pedal.
