2023 BMW R 1250 RS unveiled

BMW Motorrad, a German-based motor vehicle manufacturer, has unveiled the 2023 R 1250 RS. The sport-touring bike will be offered in three configurations: Dynamic, Comfort, and Tourer. The 2023 R 1250 RS gets new design changes and newly added standard features. 

Design and features

The 2023 iteration of the R 1250 RS models gets a more sportier look than their predecessors. The front fascia features a windshield, new LED headlamps, and DRLS . And at the rear, the bike gets LED tail lamps and grab rails. Other notable design elements are its two-step seats or single seats (depending on the variant), side-slung exhaust, a muscular tank, and a 18.17-litre fuel tank. 

The 2023 R 1250 RS comes equipped with notable features such as TFT display with BMW Motorrad Connectivity, ABS Pro, Dynamic Brake Control (DBC), Dynamic Traction Control (DTC), shiftcam technology, riding modes (Eco, Rain, Road), spoke wheels, USB charging port, adaptive headlight, cruise control, and Hill Start Control (HSC), among others.

Powertrain

Powering the 2023 R 1250 RS is a 1254 cc, air/liquid-cooled, flat-twin boxer engine. The engine produces a peak power of 136 hp and a peak torque of 143 Nm. For transmission, the engine is paired to a six-speed constant mesh. The sport-tourer bike is offered in three riding modes: Eco (new), Rain, and Road. Furthermore, in Eco mode, with the use of ShiftCam technology, the bike offers maximum fuel efficiency.

2023 BMW R 1250 RS price in Nepal
