5th gen Toyota RAV4 gets a Plug-in Hybrid

The new 5th generation Toyota RAV 4 has now been equipped with a RAV4 Plug-in Hybrid on it top range model. It is the first ever RAV4 plug–in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) in Toyota’s lineup.
Powering the RAV4 Plug-in Electric is done by 2.5-litre Hybrid Dynamic Force petrol engine and an electric motor, which puts out a total system output of 306 HP. Its lithium-ion battery pack is claimed to deliver a pure electric driving range of more than 60 km or it can drive an estimated 40 miles on battery power. It employs AWD in all new RAV4.
The new Toyota RAV4 PHEV claims to be more powerful yet also more efficient than anything else in its class. As it produces 302 HP which is comparatively 83 HP more than the current selling car. It produces power of 176 hp as initial but with addition electric power it altogether produces 302 HP which is delivers a boost for its power drains.

It is capable to power up from 0 – 100 kmph in just 6.2 seconds and 0 – 60 kmph in just about 5.8 seconds which makes it a fastest car in the Toyota’s line up. On the other hand its C02
emissions are stated to be less than 30 gpkm report via Worldwide harmonized Light vehicles Test Procedures (WLTP).
It is expected to go on for sales in early – mid 2020 and we hope that it also launches in Nepal in future as RAV4 is one of the famous Toyota line up which is driven here.
