Affordable Electric Two-wheelers from Indian Brand, DETEL to Launch Soon in Nepal
The Indian EV manufacturer, DETEL with their most affordable range of two-wheelers is ready to extend their market in Nepal and initiating #Deteldecarbonisenepal. The Indian brand is prepped to launch their two-wheelers products, the Detel Easy Plus and the Detel Easy Loader for the B2C and B2B segments.
The official distribution for the Nepalese market is appointed to Opal multinational Pvt Ltd. The chairman of the company, Niranjan Shrestha stated the company is preparing to launch these two economical models of the brand in the country soon.
The first phase of importing the two models will commence their sales in Nepal through the online delivery platform. The estimated pricing of the scooter will be between Rs 60,000 to Rs 80,000 along with the option of installment of Rs 2,000 every month.
Commenting on the same, Dr. Yogesh Bhatia, Founder, Detel, said “We have been putting all the efforts to fuel the Electric Vehicles revolution. By coming up with the most affordable e-vehicles for Indian markets, we now aim to strengthen our position in Nepal and push forward our campaign to establish a strong foothold in South Asian markets.”
Similarly, Mrs. Gitika Bhatia, Founder, Detel Foundation, added “Detel Foundation has taken an initiative to provide a tree on the sale of Detel electric vehicles. Under this initiative, we will provide a token of appreciation to the customers with a personalized certificate highlighting how their purchase from Detel India has helped to contribute to the #Detelgreennepal initiative. The certificate will also have a Geotag for the tree that has been planted in the name of that customer, which will help them to virtually visit the location of the tree”, she further added.
Detel Easy Plus
The Detel Easy Plus will be powered by a 350W electric motor and gets a 20Ah lithium-ion battery pack. With a load capacity of 150 kg, the moped will acquire a range of 60 km in a single charge and can reach a top speed of 25 kmph.
The moped features a unique moped design along with a telescopic front and twin shock absorber suspension setup, leg storage room, digital meter, LED lighting, drum braking system, and simple alloy wheel designs.
Color options: Yellow, Turquoise, Red, and Blue.
Detel Easy Loader
The Detel Easy Loader comes with both a single battery and a dual-battery pack. Powering this loader will be a 350W electric motor and gets a 20Ah lithium-ion battery pack. With a load capacity of 200 kg, the loader will acquire a range of 60 km in a single charge and can reach a top speed of 25 kmph.

The loader particularly follows practical focused design features along with a digital meter, a telescopic front, and twin shock absorber suspension setup, a leg storage room with additional storage space, a drum braking system, and wide tires.
The Detel Easy Loader will only be available in the standard color option.
