BS6 complaint new Honda City has been launched in India ahead of 2020.
Honda City, powered by 1.5 L i-VTEC petrol engine with BS-6 emission norms is liable to produce 119 Bhp of power and torque of 145 NM. It has 6 speed manual and an optional CVT automatic unit. The 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel motor will be updated over in the future days. The Honda City’s variants are SV MT, V MT, VX MT, V CVT and ZX CVT its prices are increased than the current pricing list, the starting in India INRs 9.91 lakhs.
Honda City is one of the more spacious cars with the interior having a touchscreen infotainment system (which comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, in-built satellite linked turn-by-turn navigation, live traffic support through USB Wi-Fi receiver, voice command, messages, Bluetooth handsfree call and audio, and wireless infrared remote) cruise control, automatic climate control, leather upholstery and 8 speaker sound system. Safety features includes reverse parking sensors as standard equipment. All other variants, save for the top-spec ZX get dual airbags and ABS as standard.
The Honda City will receive price changes as with the different variants. It will be competiting with the Volkswagen Vento, Skoda Rapid, Hyundai Verna as well as the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz in the Auto market. As it has already been launched in India we expect that it will soon launched in Nepal.
