Bajaj Avenger Street 160 ABS launched @ Rs 3.19 lakhs
Hansraj Hulaschand & Co. Pvt. Ltd., the authorized distributors of Bajaj bikes in Nepal has launched the new Bajaj Avenger Street 160 ABS at the rate of Rs 3,19,900. This new 160 cc Avenger will be heading straight to compete with Suzuki Intruder 155 in the Nepalese market. Let’s check out its specifications.
The new Bajaj Avenger is powered by 160 ccs, Twin Spark, 2-valve, Carburetor, DTS-i engine which delivers max power of 15 PS @ 8,500 rpm and max torque of 13.5 Nm @ 6,500 rpm paired with a 5-speed gearbox. It shares similar power figures and the same set of underpinnings as the predecessors. Bajaj Avenger Street 160 gets a more Sportier design, inspired by its elder 220cc sibling.
The sporty cruiser gets newly styled headlamps with LED DRLs, and low slung and long seat for a relaxed riding posture. In comparison to its previous model, it comes with refreshed looks and improved braking performance. In terms of braking Avenger Street includes a 280mm front and 130mm rear drum with a single-channel ABS. It gets a standard 90/90 17-inch front tires and 130/90 15-inch rear tires. Suspension duties are carried on by telescopic fork on the front and five-step adjustable twin shock absorber at the rear.
