Bajaj Dominar 250 price slashed by Rs 45,000; now comes at Rs 5.49 lakh in Nepal
Hansraj Hulaschand, the authorised distributor of Bajaj bikes in Nepal, has offered the Bajaj Dominar 250 BS6 at Rs 5.49 lakh, which is Rs 45,000 less than the outgoing Dominar 250 BS4 variants. The Dominar 250 is based on its elder sibling–the Dominar 400, but it is powered by a smaller 250-cc engine that is capable of generating 26.6 hp of power and a torque of 23.5 Nm.
Design and features
The Bajaj Dominar 250 adopts its design from its elder sibling, the Dominar 400; however, it weighs only 180 kg, which is around 4.5 kg lighter. The bike comes with an aggressive front fascia that features an automatic LED headlamp and a small windscreen, and on the rear, it gets an LED tail lamp and split grab rails. Other notable design features are its muscular tank, split-set-up seat, and dual-note exhaust. Furthermore, the bike is offered in two different colours: Canyon Red and Charcoal Black.

The Dominar 250 comes equipped with a reverse LDC dual console. The primary console displays information such as the bike’s speed, tachometer, odometer, time, gear position indicator, and fuel gauge. Similarly, the secondary console gets a malfunction indicator, low battery indicator, Bajaj logo, Hi beam indicator, ABS indicator, coolant temperature indicator, and side stand indicator. Other notable features are its LED units, 13-litre tank, and disc brakes.
Powertrain
The Dominar 250 is powered by a 248.77-cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, four-stroke, four-valve, twin-spark, FI, DOHC, BS6 engine. The engine generates a peak power of 26.6 hp at 8500 rpm and a peak torque of 23.5 Nm at 6500 rpm. For transmission, the engine comes mated to a six-speed gearbox, along with an assist and slipper clutch. The bike comes with a 13-litre fuel tank, and it provides a mileage of 35 kmpl.

The Dominar 250 models’ suspension duties are handled by a USD telescopic fork at the front and a multi-step adjustable monoshock with nitrox at the rear. For braking, the bike gets disc brakes on both ends, which are complemented by a dual-channel ABS.
