Bajaj to Bring New-Gen Pulsar 250 in 2021 – NS250 and RS250
Bajaj Auto is readying the next generation of the Pulsar models powered by a 250cc engine expanding its product portfolio. However, no details about the launch timeline have been made public yet but as per the reports it is expected to occur sometime later this year.
The Pulsar 250 is most likely to be offered in both naked sport and racing sports iterations, i.e., NS250 and RS250 respectively. These new models will not only share the platform with KTM Duke 250 but also the powertrain, which ultimately powers the Bajaj Dominar 250 as well. It will definitely have revised styling and better features compared to the Pulsar NS200.

The styling, however, is assumed to be inspired by the NS200; however, we can expect the 250 to get a more mature design and will have new-age features like an LED headlight, a color display for instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity, and possibly new smartphone connectivity tech.
Powering the 250 will presumably be a 248.8cc, fuel-injected, single-cylinder engine that also powers the KTM 250 Duke. The engine used for Duke 250 is good for 30PS of power at 9,000rpm and 24Nm of torque at 7,500rpm. The Dominar 250 uses USD front forks and a mono-shock unit at the rear, and the same could be expected with the Pulsar 250. Moreover, the motorcycle will have disc brakes along with a dual-channel ABS system.
The fully-faired RS250 will face competition with Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 while the naked street NS250 will rival the likes of Yamaha FZ250 and Suzuki Gixxer 250.
