Borgward BX-5 SUV spotted at Birgunj Customs, wait for a new premium compact SUV is coming to an end

“Borgward” a famous German Car Company has finally entered Nepal. It has been spotted at the Birgunj customs. DSM Global Company is the sole authorized distributor for Borgward in Nepal.

Borgward BX-5 premium compact SUV was said to be the first shipment in Nepal, and now this premium SUV will be reaching Kathmandu in no time after completing all the procedures.

This BX-5 a premium SUV is said to be powered by two engine options: a 1.4-liter motor and 2.0-liter motor producing 150 PS of power @ 5500 rpm and 250 Nm of torque @ 1750 – 4000 rpm and 224 PS of power and 300 Nm of torque @ 5,000 rpm respectively. Paired with a six-speed automatic transmission option. In terms of dimensions, it is 4490 mm long, 1877 mm wide, and 1675 mm high. It has a 2685 mm wheelbase.

Features such as automatic halogen headlamps, keyless entry, cruise control, power-folding side mirror with puddle lamps, LED headlamps & DRLs, dual-zone air-con system with rear vents, 4.2-inch instrument cluster, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, front parking sensors, and powered tailgates are offered in this new SUV.

In terms of safety tech it is said to be offered with 6 airbags, vehicle stability control, ABS, EBD, brake assist, electronics parking brake, tire pressure monitoring system, hill start assist, hill descent control.
