BYD partners with Everest bank; BYD vehicles can be owned at only 20% down payment

Cimex Inc. Pvt. Ltd, the authorised distributor of BYD vehicles in Nepal, has partnered with Everest Bank to offer financing options on all its electric vehicles. The bank will provide up to 80% financing on every BYD electric vehicle purchase, making it easier for customers to own BYD’s vehicles. 

With only 20% down payment, the e6 that costs Rs 59 lakh can be owned for Rs 11.80 lakh, and the new Atto 3, priced at Rs 64.90 lakh, can be owned for Rs 12.98 lakh. 

Through this collaboration, customers will have access to financing options from all Everest Bank branches with a special low interest rate for BYD vehicles for up to seven years. 

Commenting on the occasion, Ms Yamuna Shrestha, Managing Director of Cimex Inc, said:  “BYD has always been committed to providing high-quality, eco-friendly mobility solutions to customers. This partnership will allow EV enthusiasts to easily avail of financing options for BYD EVs and contribute towards a greener environment.”

Currently, BYD offers only two EV models for the Nepali market: the e6 and the Atto 3–at a starting price of Rs 59 lakh.
