Tele talk Pvt. Ltd, the official distributor of Colors mobile in Nepal, has launched their latest budget smartphone, the Colors S9. After weeks of teasing the phone, it is finally officially here. So what does the phone offer for a tagged price of Rs 11,995? Well, let’s take a deeper dive on the phone and find out for ourselves.

The Colors S9 packs a 5.2 inch HD IPS display with a pixel density of 282PPI. The display is protected by an Asahi Dragontrail glass and is edged out by a 2.5D glass. Under the hood, the S9 packs an unspecified quad-core MediaTek processor. The processor is backed by 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The phone supports memory expansion via a micro-sd card and is dual sim cards capable.

In the camera side of things, the phone packs an 8MP rear camera accompanied by a LED flash. The phone also has a 5MP front camera possessing a LED flash for all your high-res selfies. This inclusion will be very beneficial in taking those precious selfies even under low light situations. Software-wise, the phone runs almost a stock version of Android 7.0 Nougat. The phone also has an active fingerprint scanner embedded into the phones back panel. It is really amazing to see this biometric option at this price range. Other sensors include an accelerometer, proximity sensor, and a digital compass. And finally powering this device all up is a 2400mAh battery. This coupled with the 720p display will be enough to get users through a full day of moderate to heavy usage without any problems.
