Coming Soon: JAWA to Launch New Motorcycle in Nepal after Two Weeks
Following the launch of two ‘most-awaited’ models JAWA and JAWA 42 couple of months ago, now the brand is all geared up to bring a new model to the Nepalese market – JAWA Perak.
The most expensive motorcycle in the company’s line up is now being brought to the country by Agni MotoInc – a subsidiary of the Agni group (official distributor) after two weeks.
The company representative stated that the JAWA brand is well accepted by the customers in Nepal and many of the customers are concerned about the Perak to launch in Nepal. With such demand in the market, the company is preparing to bring the model by the second week of February in Nepal.
Hold your excitement and check out what Perak has for you on offer
Powered by a 334cc BS6 engine, Perek is good for 30 bhp of power and a torque of 31 Nm mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
First of all, it is worth noting that Perak is a historic brand for JAWA; revived the name for a factory-custom bobber and one gorgeous looking motorcycle. Perak essentially gets a typical low-slung profile with a longer wheelbase as compared to the other Jawa models.
The exterior is treated with a blacked-out theme with a matte black-grey paint job and a black colored theme for most of its mechanical parts. The classic bobber stance is enhanced by the gold pinstriping on the fuel tank, side panels, fenders, and most essentially, the floating seat design with a tan-brown leather seat.
Encounter a conventional halogen lamp all around except for the LED tail lamps. Then there is a circular unit instrument cluster with a small digital unit for the odometer; lifted from the Jawa Standard. Braking duties are handled by both front and rear disc brakes mounded by dual-channel ABS. Furthermore, on the safety, the motorcycle also features integrated taillights, a teardrop fuel tank, and wide handlebars.
The price tag for the JAWA Perak is assumed to be somewhere around 7.5 lakh to 8 lakh in the Nepalese market.
