Coming Soon: MG ZS EV Facelift to Enter Nepal
Following the news of updated MG ZS being launch on February 8, 2021, in India, Paramount Motors, the official distributor of MG for Nepal, has stated that the model will roll out in Nepal as well in few days. The most successful EV was confirmed by the company to be available in Nepal earlier. The ZS EV made a debut in Nepal in 2019 and has been accepted by the audience very well.
The company is accepting bookings of the facelift version in 59.99 Lakh.
The soon received update by the year-old EV is expected to only get little equipment and feature tweaks with no major updates and the rest of the details remain to stay under the wraps.
The new MG ZS EV is expected to receive features such as an emergency braking system, advanced driver assistance system, blind-spot monitoring, and adaptive cruise control.
Powered by a 44.5 kWh lithium-ion battery and 112 kWh electric motors, the EV has a claimed range of 340km in standard test conditions (as per ARAI). The battery juices up 80% 16-18 hours using a 15A home supply and takes 6-8 hours with the 7kW AC wall charger. Then there is fast charging option in about 50 minutes using a 50kW DC fast charger.
Safety feature for the standard will include six airbags, ABS, brake assist, ESC, hill start assist, hill descent control, electric parking brake, tire pressure monitor, Isofix child seat mounts, rear camera, and parking sensors; however, the top-end trim will additionally get heated wing mirrors.
The comfort features in the EV will have halogen projector headlamps, LED DRLs, 17-inch alloys, an 8.0-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, cruise control, and auto headlamps. Furthermore, it comes with kits like leatherette upholstery, powered driver seat, panoramic sunroof, a PM 2.5 air filters, auto wipers, power foldable wing mirrors, and connected car tech is reserved for the range-topping Exclusive trim.
