Coolpad Note 6 launched in India
Coolpad after a long break is back with a brand new selfie-focused mid-tier smartphone. The Chinese OEM, in an event held in India, launched their latest mid-tier smartphone, the Coolpad Note 6. The phone is priced at INR 8,999 or $135 (3/32GB) and INR 9,999 or $150 (4/64GB). So let’s take a deeper look at what the phone has to offer at this price point.
The Coolpad Note 6 packs a 5.5 inch Full HD IPS display with a pixel density of 401PPI. The display is edged out by a 2.5D glass giving users a seamless experience. Encasing the internals of the phone is a metallic shell which not only looks good but also feels quite premium. Under the hood, the phone packs an octa-core Qualcomm MSM8940 Snapdragon 435 processor along with the Adreno 505 GPU. The processor is backed by 3/4GB of RAM and 32/64GB of internal storage respectively. The internal memory can be further expanded via a micro-sd card up to 256GB. The phone also supports dual-sim cards and is 4G compatible.
In the camera department, the Coolpad Note 6 packs a front dual camera set up made by an 8MP and a 5MP sensor. The phone also has a f/2.2 13MP rear camera accompanied by an LED flash. Software-wise, the phone runs Journey UI, Coolpad’s own custom skin, based on Android 8.0 7.1 Nougat. The Note 6 also packs a fingerprint scanner embedded into the phone’s home button. And finally powering this phone up is a large 4070mAh non-user removable battery. This will without a doubt be enough to get users through a day worth of battery life on a single charge.
