The popular Crossfire model Crossfire HJ 250 is now available for interested buyers in Nepal. According to Classic Wheels Export & Import Pvt. Ltd, the official distributor of Crossfire motorcycles here, the Hj 250 is currently priced at NPR 6,45,000.

  • NPR 5,000 discount on financing

The HJ 250 features an overall upgraded package compared to that of its predecessor, the GR7, in terms of its aesthetics, premium feel, power, braking, suspension, and many more. On the exterior, the bike features an orange, white, and black colour combination. A few of the parts with orange treatment (referred to as CNS parts) such as the front suspension cover, the magnet cover, gear lever, chain cover, swing-arm cover, clutch set, etc can be brought separately from the Crossfire showroom. The all-LED setup of headlamp, tail lamp, and side indicators are prominent. The bike comes equipped with the same digital instrument display offered in its predecessor. Also, the SZC silencer pipe is the same as its predecessor’s, in a recessed position, which helps protect riders from possible burns. The bike has an adjustable clutch lever with a soft-touch and immediate response to prevent it from breaking.

The HJ 250 is equipped with a 249.6 cc liquid-cooled compact engine that generates a maximum power of 30.15 bhp at 9000 rpm and a maximum torque of 22.5 Nm at 7000 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox option. The bike’s compression ratio stands at 11:6:1, and the displacement is 249.6 cc.

The bike is offered in two variants: Dirt and Motard. The sole difference between the two variants is the tyres. The Crossfire HJ 250 Dirt uses mud-terrain tyres, and the Crossfire HJ 250 Motard uses street tyres. The dimensions of the HJ 250 measure 2320 mm in length, 1300 mm in height, and 830 mm in width. The seat height can be reduced by half an inch. However, doing that shortens the suspension, which can lead to the buyers’ voiding the bike’s warranty.

The front suspension uses a telescopic, cartridge type, compression rebound that has a travel of 12.2 inches. Meanwhile, the rear suspension includes CNC linkages and spring preloads with fully adjustable compression rebound that have a travel of 11.81 inches. The compression adjustability is designed to deliver superior damping performance in all kinds of terrains.

The HJ 250 has a dry weight of 109 kg, which is much lighter than that of other dirt bikes; the HJ 250’s lightweight feature makes it exceedingly manoeuvrable. The bike’s wheelbase stands at 1500 mm, and the ground clearance measures 330 mm, which is pretty decent for a dirt bike. The fuel capacity of the bike is 10 litres. The ignition options are offered as both electric and kick.
