Deal Alert: Nokia 5 gets a price drop

Paramount Electronics, the official distributor of Nokia smartphones in Nepal, has slashed the price of their mid-tier smartphone, the Nokia 5. The phone which was priced at Rs21,350 at the time of launch has been cut to Rs 18,999. For the price, here is everything the phone has to offer.

The Nokia 5 packs a 5.2 inch HD IPS display with a pixel density of 282PPI. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass and is edged out by a 2.5D glass. Encased in a metallic shell, the phone looks and feels very premium. Under the hood, the Nokia 5 packs an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor along with the Adreno 505 GPU. The processor is backed by 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The internal memory can be further expanded via a micro-sd card up to 256GB. The phone also does support dual nano sim-cards and is 4G capable.

In the camera department, the Nokia 5 packs a f/2.0 13MP rear camera along with a dual-tone LED flash. The phone also has a f/2.0 8MP front camera for all your selfies. The Nokia 5 also comes equipped with a fingerprint scanner embedded into its home key. Other sensors include an accelerometer, compass, proximity sensor and a gyroscope. Software-wise, the phone runs almost a stock version of Android 7.1.1 Nougat. And finally powering this device all up is a 3000mAh non-user removable battery.
