EVTRIC launches three electric two-wheelers in Nepal

The Indian-based EV manufacturer–EVTRIC Motors–has launched three electric two-wheelers–the Rise, the Ride, and the Mighty–in Nepal. APS Trade Link Pvt. Ltd, the authorised distributor of EVTRIC electric bikes and scooters, has offered its two-wheeler at a starting price of Rs 3.40 lakh.

Rise

The Rise model’s design is similar to traditional ICE-powered bikes. Being an electric bike, the Rise comes with a muscular battery compartment and sporty elements like its LED headlights, a windscreen, a unibody seat, and pillion grab rails. Furthermore, the bike is offered in two colour options:red and black.

The Rise is powered by a 72V 40AH lithium battery–paired to a 2 kW Brushless BLDC motor–generates a maximum power of 3.5 kW. For charging, the e-bike takes 4-5 hours to get fully-charged via a 10 amp charger. And on a single charge, the bike provides a maximum range of 120 km.

The e-bike is offered with notable features such as  central locking, ‘find my bike’ function, reverse gear, keyless start, anti-theft alarm, mobile charging port, dual disc brakes with braking sensor, among others.

Ride

The electric scooter–the Ride–is offered in two variants: the HS and the Pro. The HS models–mated to 1.5 kW Brushless BLDC motor–get a smaller lithium-ion battery pack of 60V 31AH. And the Pro variants come equipped with a 2 kW Brushless BLDC motor paired to a larger lithium-ion battery pack of 72V 40AH. Both the models get fully-charged in 4-5 hours and on a single charge, the scooter provides a range around 80-110 km.

The Ride comes equipped with notable features such as LED headlights, reverse gear, brake sensor, anti theft alarm, keyless start, charger with auto cut, digital speedometer, mobile charging, and ‘find my scooter’ function, among others.

Mighty Pro

The Mighty Pro gets similar mechanical specifications as that of the Ride HS models. The scooter is powered by a 60V 31AH lithium-ion battery which is paired to a 1.5 kW Brushless BLDC. And the e-scooter can generate a peak power of 2.5 kW. 

In terms of design, the Mighty Pro gets LED headlights, unibody seat, grab rail ,and V-shaped combination lights (includes DRLS and turn indicators), among others .

Furthermore, the e-scooter comes equipped with the similar notable features like its other Ride HS models such as brake sensor, keyless start, ‘find my scooter’ function, mobile charging, digital speedometer, and central locking with anti theft alarm, among others.
