The 2017 Ford EcoSport has been launched in the Nepalese market, the new model has been heavily redesigned with more than 1600 parts says Ford. The car receives a refreshed look that adds to the ruggedness with was previously missing and the interior has also been given a smart makeover.
The refreshed EcoSport now gets a new trapezoid grill with sleek new headlamps and LED Daytime Running Lights that highlights the company’s new design language. The car sits on a gorgeous pair of 17-inch alloys which comes with the top end Titanium+ variant.
In terms of performance the EcoSport will be available with a new and more efficient 5-speed manual 1.5-liter Ti-VCT petrol that makes 123 Bhp of power & 150 Nm of torque with a fuel efficiency of 17 Km/L and a 5-speed manual 1.5L TDCi diesel engine that makes 100 Bhp and a fuel efficiency of 23 Km/L .Also a segment-first paddle shifter is on offer for the petrol engine with a 6- speed automatic transmission.
The new Ford EcoSport is available in five trims with seven colour options – Lightning Blue, Canyon Ridge, Race Red, Diamond White, Absolute Black, Moondust Silver and Smoke Grey. Pricing starts at Rs 33,90,000 for the Petrol Manual Transmission variants. For the Petrol automatic prices range from Rs 42,90,000 to Rs 48,90,000. Diesel Manual starts from Rs 38,90,000 to Rs 49,90,000.
