Fully Electric Jeep Wrangler to Debut in March
Jeep is moving faster than you think when it comes to electrification. Not long ago, they introduced the Jeep Wrangler 4xe plug-in hybrid and now a fully electric production vehicle. Yeah, that right! Jeep’s first fully electric Wrangler is paving its way to make a debut in March.
Jeep confirmed a concept version of this battery-powered SUV through its Super Bowl LV commercial ft. Bruce Springsteen. The ad managed to focus on the existence of a new website – ‘The Road Ahead’ that is made quite busy with the future plans of the brand. Among the information was the announcement of exclusive “100% battery-powered Wrangler BEV” which is set to be revealed at the annual Easter Jeep Safari in Moab.

A video clip featured silhouetted Wrangler sporting a stylish light bar running from the end of the typical Wrangler fascia, through the round headlights. Also, a shot of what inside of it looks like; doesn’t reveal much but we can figure full battery architecture. Under the skin assumed to have a couple of batteries and one electric motor up front, sending power through a traditional-looking transmission and transfer case.
Stay tuned with us to know more about the different concepts Jeep is trying on its off-road capabilities.
