Gionee S10 Lite launched in China
Gionee, a Chinese smartphone company, has launched their latest mid-tier smartphone, the Gionee S10 Lite in their home country. Here is a look at everything the phone brings to the table for a price of around $250.
The Gionee S10 Lite houses a 5.2 inch HD IPS display (1280*720) with a pixel density of 282PPI. The display is edged out by a 2.5D glass giving users a seamless experience. Encasing the phone is a unibody aluminum shell which looks and feels very premium. Under the hood, the phone packs a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 427 processor along with the Adreno 308GPU. The processor is backed by 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The internal storage can be further expanded via a micro-sd card up to 256GB.
The selfie-centric Gionee S10 Lite packs a whopping f/2.0 16MP front camera with a CRI front flash. Selfie-enthusiasts will be more than overjoyed with this offering. The phone also packs a f/2.0 13MP rear camera with a dual-tone LED flash. In the software side of things, the phone runs Android 7.1 Nougat with Gionee’s own custom skin Amigo UI 4.0 overlaid on top of it. This UI brings tons of useful features and beautifying tools to make taking selfies just that good. The phone also comes with a fingerprint scanner embedded into its home button. Other sensors include an accelerometer, a proximity sensor, and a digital compass. And finally powering the device all up is a mediumly sized 3100mAh non-user removable battery. This combined with the 720p display will make for a prolonged battery life.
The Gionee S10 Lite looks to be a good mid-tier smartphone which has almost all the aspects in check. That said, we would have loved to see an 18:9 near bezel-less display on this phone. Nonetheless, the S10 Lite has some attractive feature set which will help lure consumers towards it. As of right now, we have not heard any rumors about this phone launching in Nepal. If we do hear anything, we will let you guys know. For those and more, keep reading Hamrobazaar Blog.
