Hero has launched the Destini 125 scooter at a price of Rs. 2,06,000. The Destini 125 sports a mature, utilitarian design. While the VX model gets a chrome strip on the apron and on the sides, along with the dual-tone seat and cast alloy wheels, the LX variant comes with silver garnishes across its body with a single-tone seat and steel wheel. Hero offers the Destini 125 in four different paint schemes – red, bronze, black and white.
Features includes a semi-digital instrument console which houses the odometer, tripmeter, service indicator and the fuel gauge. It also gets an external fuel filler cap, USB charging socket and underseat storage light. Powering the scooter is a 124.6cc single-cylinder unit which produces 8.8PS of power and 10.2Nm of torque. Suspension duties are handled by telescopic forks at the front and a rear monoshock unit. Braking, meanwhile, is taken care of by drum units on both ends along with Hero’s integrated braking system. At its price range, the Destini 125 goes up against the Honda Activa 125 and the Suzuki Access 125.
