Hero Xtreme 160R to Make a Presence in Nepal this Month

The latest model in the product line up from Hero, Xtreme 160R is making a presence in Nepal this month according to the recent reports.

Nepal General Marketing, the official distributor of Hero two-wheelers for Nepal, stated that the model will go on sale in Nepal during the last week of February or the first week of March.

The 160R rolling down the country is proved to be the company’s one of the fastest motorcycle build by Hero India in the 160cc segment – 0-60kmph in just 407 seconds. However, the price tag that 160R holds is still unknown.

The all-new model from the Indian company, 160R is built with sharp, compact bodywork and features like all-LED lighting and a full-digital instrument console. Powering the 160R will be a new 160cc air-cooled and fuel-injected BS6-compliant motor that is good to produce 15.2PS of power and 14Nm of torque.

Hero Xtreme 160R is the sole model in its segment to get all-LED lighting i.e. LED headlamp, LED tail lamp, and LED turn indicators. Then there is a full-digital instrument console with features such as a speedometer, tachometer, odometer, fuel gauge, and clock.

Braking duties are handled by a 276mm front disc and 130mm drum (optional 220mm disc) with single-channel ABS as standard. The Hero Xtreme 160R will be available in two variants: rear disc and rear drum.

After the launch, 160R will lock horns with Bajaj Pulsar NS160, Suzuki Gixxer BS6, TVS Apache RTR 160 4V BS6, and Yamaha FZ FI V3 BS6 with all the bells and whistles featured by the company.
