BS6 Honda Grazia launch in Nepal | Variants, price, and specifications

The BS6 compliant version of the Honda Grazia has finally arrived in Nepal. Syakar Trading Company Pvt. Ltd, the authorized distributor for Honda two-wheelers in Nepal, has launched two variants of the most-awaited Grazia, and announced their official price here.

Design

The new Grazia not only sees upgrades on the engine but also has upgraded features to enhance the overall style and rider comfort. The design is sportier than before, and distinctly features sharp edges. The front fascia has a redesigned LED DC headlamp and new LED DRLs, which look similar to that of the Dio. The handlebar cowl has also been tweaked a little with sharper lines and edges. The sharp edges continue to the sides and the rear of the scooter as well. The rear tail lamp has been refashioned as a jet-inspired bold design.

Features

There are fresh features added to the scooter to up the convenience factor. A new fully digital instrument cluster, which now comes as a twin-pod setup, provides a plethora of indications such as distance to empty, average fuel efficiency, and real-time fuel efficiency. The panel also features a speedometer, tachometer, an odometer, sidelight indicators, engine light, and fuel-level indicator. The scooter has an integrated engine start/stop switch, integrated headlamp beam and passing switch, and a multi-function switch for unlocking the seat and external fuel lid. The underseat storage and glove box are more voluminous, and users can easily fit in a can of juice, keys, and phone in the latter compartment.

Performance

Powering the new Grazia is the same engine used in the BS6 Activa 125: a 124cc fuel-injected BS6 engine. The BSC is Honda’s trusted 125cc PGM-FI HET (Honda Eco Technology) fan-cooled engine, which is boosted by Enhanced Smart Power (eSP) that generates a maximum power of 8.14 bhp at 6000 rpm and a maximum torque of 10.3 Nm at 5000 rpm. The scooter has 5.3 litres of fuel capacity and provides a range of 35-40 km.

Suspension and brake

Suspension is handled by a telescopic hydraulic fork on the front and a 3-step adjustable spring loaded hydraulic shock absorber on the back. Similarly, the scooter comes with a 12-inch black alloy wheel on the front and a 10-inch black alloy wheel on the rear. In the standard variant, braking duties, integrated with the CBS (Combi-Brake System), are handled by drum brakes on both wheels, while the deluxe variant has a disc brake on the front and a drum brake at the rear. 

Dimensions

The dimensions of the new Grazia measure 1829mm in length, 707mm in width, and 1167 mm in height. The wheelbase is 1260 mm; the kerb weight is 108 kg; the seat length is 708 mm; and the ground clearance has been increased by 16 mm to total 171 mm. The colour options on the scooter are Matte Cyber Yellow, Pearl Spartan Red, Pearl Siren Blue, and Matte Axis Grey.
