Honda India launches the all-new Dio 125 at INR 83,400
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has launched its highly sought-after scooter model–the all-new Dio 125–in the Indian market. The all-new Dio 125 gets minor design changes, new colour options, upgraded features, and a new 125 cc engine similar to the Grazia 125 models. The company has offered the scooter in two variants: the Standard and the Smart–at a starting price of INR 83,400.

Design and features
The new Dio 125 comes with notable design elements such as LED headlamp and taillamp, split grab rail, a dual outlet muffler with chrome cover, sporty exhaust, and 12-inch alloy wheels. Furthermore, the scooter has been offered in seven new colours: Pearl Siren Blue, Pearl Deep Ground Gray, Pearl Night Star Black, Mat Marvel Blue Metallic, Mat Axis Gray Metallic, Mat Sangria Red Metallic, and Sports Red.
The scooter comes equipped with a fully digital instrument console that displays information such as speed, fuel level, trip metre, and time, among others. The new Dio 125 also gets a Smart Key system that offers functions like smart find, smart unlock, smart start, and smart safe. Furthermore, the scooter comes with Honda’s idling start-stop system, which automatically switches off the scooter when it stops in order to conserve fuel. Other notable features are its LED units, front disc brake, 18-litre underseat storage, external fuel lid, silent start with ACG, side stand engine cutoff, and a 10-year warranty (3-years standard and the remaining 7-years can be extended, optionally).
Powertrain
The Dio 125 gets the same engine as the brand’s Grazia 125 and Activa 125 models. The scooter is powered by a new 123.92 cc, four-stroke, SI engine that is capable of producing a peak power of 8 hp at 6250 rpm and a peak torque of 10.4 Nm at 5000 rpm. The Dio 125 comes with a fuel tank capacity of 5.3-litre and it provides an approximate mileage of 45-50 kmpl.

Honda Dio 125 price in Nepal
Honda India has launched the all-new Dio 125 in two variants: the Standard and the Smart–at an introductory price of INR 83,400 and INR Rs 91,300, respectively. The scooter serves as a rival to the Suzuki Burgman 125 Street and the TVS NTorq 125. There is no official news regarding its launch in Nepal, but the fans can expect it to come at a starting price of Rs 2.80 lakh here.
