How long for Jeep Grand Cherokee to Launch in Nepal?
Jeep’s ‘Most Awarded SUV’ Jeep Grand Cherokee is expected to soon launch in Nepal, especially when a model was spotted testing a couple of days earlier in the streets of Kathmandu. The premium SUV rocking the roads in the city does not hold an official launch date yet through its official distributor; MAW Life. Nevertheless, the white Grand Cherokee flaunting its presence in the city definitely points towards a near launch date.
Jeep premium mid-size SUV stands in luxury segment built on unibody chassis making it run smoothly even on off-road. According to the reports, this SUV goes 0-100 kmph in just 3.6 seconds and has a top speed of 290 kmph.
Although Jeep Grand Cherokee is available in a 3.0, 3.6 Pentastar, 5.7V8, 6.2V8, and 6.7V8 engine in the international market, it seems like MAW Life will only be introducing the 3.0L petrol trim. Available in four-wheel drive, the SUV with an automatic transmission is good for 172 kilowatts of power and 285 Nm of torque.
The dimension of the premium SUV remains to be 4820, 1943, and 1760 mm in length, width, and height respectively. It has a ground clearance of 215 mm, a wheelbase of 2915 mm, and a 93-liter fuel tank.
Braking duties are handled by disc brakes on each side, rain brake support, and anti-lock four-wheel FNC disc HD brakes. Meanwhile, safety and convenience features include side curtain, front and rear airbags, driver inflatable non-booster airbags, supplemental front-seat side airbags, active head restraint, remote keyless entry, remote proximity keyless entry, and dual remote USB port.
Moreover, it will feature a powerful engine, an 8-speed auto transmission, a lowered stiffer suspension, and a host of premium features like leather-trimmed seats, a Park View Rear Backup Camera with dynamic grid and heated seats, and a steering wheel.
The exterior of the SUV flaunts signature 7 slot grille, aggressive LED tail lights, Bi-Xenon HID headlights, LED daytime running lights, LED fog lamps and rear fog lamps, and 5-spoke alloys.
