Genxt, the official distributor of HTC smartphones in Nepal, has launched the HTC U11 here. The phone, which is one of the hottest phones of the year, is priced at Rs 79,000. Although a bit pricey, let us take a deeper look at what it provides for all that dough.
The HTC U11 packs a 5.5 inch Quad HD LCD5 display with a pixel density of 534 PPI. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass 5 and is edged out by a 2.5D glass. The phone combines both glass and metal to provide a premium looking and feeling device. Under the hood, the U11 packs an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor along with the Adreno 540 GPU. The processor is backed by 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The internal storage can be further expanded via a micro-sd card up to 256GB. The phone also is IP67 certified for dust and water resistance up to 1 meter for 30 minutes.
In the camera department, the U11 packs a f/1.7 12MP rear camera accompanied by a dual-tone LED flash and OIS. There is also a f/2.0 16MP front camera for all your high-res selfies. The U11 also comes equipped with a fingerprint scanner embedded into its home button. Other sensors include an accelerometer, compass, proximity sensor and a gyroscope. Software-wise, the phone runs Android 7.1 Nougat with HTC’s own custom skin, Sense UI overlaid on top of it. And finally powering this device all up is a 3000mAh non-user removable battery. This will be enough to get users a full day worth of battery life without any issues. And if the battery does run out there is the inclusion of Quick Charge 3.0 and USB Type C port for faster charging time.
The HTC U11 is available from any Genxt store across the nation in Black, White and Silver color option. The phone is remarkable in the sense that it perfectly marries great hardware and a smooth software. That said, the price of the phone is a bit steep for the value it provides.
