Huawei Y9 2018 officially unveiled in Nepal
Call Mobility, the official distributor of Huawei smartphones in Nepal has officially unveiled their latest mid-tier smartphone, the Huawei Y9 2018. In an event held at Hotel Himalayan, Huawei unveiled their latest mid-tier smartphone. The phone also goes by the name Huawei Nova 2i Lite and is priced at Rs 25,900. For the price, here is everything the phone has to offer.
The Huawei Y9 2018 packs a 5.93 inch Full HD (1080*2160) IPS display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and a pixel density of 402PPI. This helps Huawei pack a larger display in a relatively small body. The Y9 2018 comes encased in a unibody aluminum shell which not only looks good but also feels premium to the touch. Under the hood, the phone packs an octa-core Kirin 659 processor along with the Mali-T830 GPU. The processor is backed by 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The phone also supports storage expansion via a micro-sd card up to 256GB and is dual-sim capable.
In the camera side of things, the Huawei Y9 2018 packs 4 cameras in total. Among the 4, two of them are in the rear which is a combination of a 16MP and a 2MP sensor. The other two are in the front combining a 13MP and a 2MP sensor. This not only means better photos but also better selfies now. Software-wise, the phone runs Android 8.0 Oreo with Huawei’s own custom skin, EMUI 8.0 layered on top of it. Just sitting below the rear cameras is a fingerprint scanner embedded into the phone’s back panel. Other sensors include an accelerometer, proximity, compass, and a gyroscope. And finally, powering the device all up is a large non-user removable 4000mAh battery. This will be more than enough to get users through a day of moderate to heavy usage without any issues.
The Huawei Y9 2018 is available for you to buy in retail stores across the nation for Rs 25,900. The phone is available in three color variants, Black, Gold, and Blue color options. For anyone looking to buy a great mid-tier device, the Huawei Y9 2018 is a great option!
