Huawei Y9 2018 to launch soon in Nepal
Call Mobility, the official distributor of Huawei smartphones in Nepal, is gearing up to launch their latest mid-tier smartphone the Huawei Y9 2018. The phone has some great hardware offerings and tons of cool features. It takes a lot of inspiration from its cousin, the Huawei Nova 2i. For an estimated price of around Rs 26,000, here are all the things the phone brings to the table.
The Huawei Y9 2018 packs a 5.93 inch Full HD (1080*2160) IPS display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and a pixel density of 402PPI. This helps Huawei pack a larger display in a relatively small body. The Y9 2018 comes encased in a unibody aluminum shell which not only looks good but also feels premium to the touch. Under the hood, the phone packs an octa-core Kirin 659 processor along with the Mali-T830 GPU. The processor is backed by 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The phone also supports storage expansion via a micro-sd card up to 256GB and is dual-sim capable.
In the camera side of things, the Huawei Y9 2018 packs 4 cameras in total. Among the 4, two of them are in the rear which is a combination of a 16MP and a 2MP sensor. The other two are in the front combining a 13MP and a 2MP sensor. This not only means better photos but also better selfies now. Software-wise, the phone runs Android 8.0 Oreo with Huawei’s own custom skin, EMUI 8.0 layered on top of it. Just sitting below the rear cameras is a fingerprint scanner embedded into the phone’s back panel. Other sensors include an accelerometer, proximity, compass, and a gyroscope. And finally, powering the device all up is a large non-user removable 4000mAh battery. This will be more than enough to get users through a day of moderate to heavy usage without any issues.
