Hyundai AURA launches in India

Hyundai AURA has been launched in Indian market at the starting price of INRs 5.80 lakhs to INRs 8.54 lakhs. The sedan will be available in 4 trim levels – E, S, SX and SX+ and in a total of 12 variants in India, we are unsure if all these trims makes its way to NEPAL. It comes in 6 colour options – Polar White, Vintage Brown, Typhoon Silver, Fiery Red, Titan Grey and Alpha Blue.

Hyundai Aura is powered by a 3 BS-6 compliant engines :
i) 1.2 litre Kappa Petrol
ii) 1.0 litre 3 cylinder turbocharged petrol
iii) 1.2 litre diesel
The naturally aspirated petrol engine produces 81 Bhp power and 113 NM of torque where as the oil burner produces 74 Bhp and 190 NM of torque. The 1.2 Litre petrol engine also gets a CNG option where the power of 72 PS is produced and max torque of 102 NM. The 1.2L diesel claims mileage of 25.35kmpl (manual) and 25.40kmpl (AMT). The 1.2L petrol manual and AMT variants promise fuel economy of 20.50kmpl and 20.10kmpl respectively. The 1.2 CNG model delivers 28.40km/kg. The performance-oriented 1.0L turbo with manual gearbox offers fuel efficiency of 20.50kmpl.

Measuring over all dimension Aura is 3995 mm long, 1680 mm wide, 1520 mm tall, 2450 mm in wheelbase and its boot space measures upto 402 litres. The Hyundai Aura is available in colours such as Titan Grey, Polar White, Typhoon Silver, Fiery Red, Vintage Brown and Alpha Blue. With the interior it is fitted with a 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Arkamys premium sound system, projector fog lamp, a 5.3-inch digital speedometer and multi-information display. However more similar to Grand i10 Nios. Safety features in AURA include dual airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, a rearview camera, a high-speed alert, as well as driver and co-driver seat belt warning. Further updates regarding the launches in Nepal is still to be unveiled.
