Hyundai Creta 2020 launched in India
The long awaited 2020 Hyundai Creta has finally launched in India at the starting price of INRs 9.99 lakh and goes all the way up to INRs 17.20 lakh. It has been offered with five variants: E, EX, S, SX and SX (O) and three powertrain options : Diesel, Petrol and Turbo-petrol.

The new Hyundai Creta 2020 has been offered with all new set of BS-6 compliant engines powered by 1.5 litre CRDi Diesel , 1.5 litre VTVT petrol, 1.4 litre T-GDi Turbo petrol engine producing 115PS power / 250Nm torque, 115PS power / 144Nm torque, 140PS power / 242Nm torque respectively. With the transmission options it includes a 6-speed manual transmission, a CVT and a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT) as well.

It gets a new Drive & Traction Modes for the engine – like Comfort, Eco, and Sport – along with modes depending on traction – such as snow, sand, and mud. It’s higher variants is said to get a rear disc brakes.
The 2020 Creta has been offered with a Sporty design, a cascading grille and split LED headlights and new 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. Other highlights include a prominent shoulder line which runs through the length of the car. The exterior elements also include a “flying C-pillar”, and the unique layout of the CRETA emblem at the rear. However, the rear end of the Creta looks a bit polarising thanks to the split-LED tail lamps.

Inside Creta it’s dashboard comes in with two colour options black and red, inserts for the turbo variants and black beige for other. It has been offered with a minimalistic designs, whereas it comes with a 10.25 inch infotainment system – landscape-orientated and a climate control knobs. It is also equipped with an Advanced BlueLink connected car tech that was first debuted on the Venue compact SUV and a Bose Premium Sound System with 8 Speakers.
Besides that it comes with a 7.0-inch digital instrument cluster with a tire pressure monitor. Other additional features such as Voice-enabled smart panoramic sunroof, trio beam LED headlamps, Electric parking brake, auto healthy air purifier, Paddle shifter, MT remote engine start and 2 step rear seat reclining are offered.

Safety features such as driver and passenger airbag, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, central locking, driver and front passenger seat belt reminder, front seat belts with pre-tensioners, Day/night IRVM and speed alert system are standard across the SUV lineup.
Hyundai has revealed that it has received over 14,000 bookings for the all-new 2020 Creta in India. We hope it to make its launch plans in Nepal soon after this current COVID-19 pandemic is lifted as it is also one of the most prefered SUV in Nepalese market.
