Whereas, the Suzuki Swift comes in two variants: the Lxi and the Zxi–at a base price of Rs 34.99 lakh and it goes up to Rs 37.49 lakh.

In terms of delivering power, the Grand i10 NIOS is powered by a 1.2-litre Kappa petrol engine that produces a peak power of 82 hp at 6000 rpm and a peak torque of 114 Nm at 4000 rpm. For transmission, the engine comes mated to either a five-speed manual transmission or AMT, depending upon the variants. Meanwhile, the Swift is powered by a 1.2-litre VVT K series petrol engine that generates a power of 120 hp at 6000 rpm and a torque of 113 Nm at 4000 rpm. For transmission, the engine comes mated to only a five-speed manual transmission.

The Suzuki Swift is slightly longer, wider and taller than the Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS, however the Swift has a lower ground clearance. Meanwhile both the hatchback comes with the same wheelbase.
