Hyundai KONA titled in GUINNESS BOOKS OF WORLD RECORDS

Hyundai’s First Electric SUV KONA, has made it to the prestigious GUINNESS BOOKS OF WORLD RECORDS. Hyundai KONA Electric is first Electric SUV driven to an altitude of 5,731 meters to Sawula Pass in Tibet. It has amazingly beat the previous record of 5,715.28 meters altitude by any electric car.

KONA Electric has proven itself as a truly reliable Electric Vehicle in all season and extreme conditions. During the expedition, KONA Electric performed as a true SUV on harsh weather conditions like low temperatures, continuous snowfall and icy tarmacs.

In Nepal Hyundai Kona EV, first full-electric sub-compact SUV, has been distributed by its official dealer Laxmi Intercontinental Pvt Ltd. Kona Electric is powered by an all-electric motor that puts out 136 PS of power and 395 Nm of torque. It can do 0-100 kmph in 9.7 seconds before maxing out at 154kmph. The battery pack supports fast charging and can be juiced up from 0-80 percent in 57 minutes with a 50kW fast charger, while a 7.2kW charger juices up the same in 6 hours 10 mins. The Hyundai Kona is available at the price of Rs 55,96,00 (39.2 kWh) and Rs 65,96,000 (64 kWh) in Nepal.
