Hyundai launches the all-new Venue in Nepal

Hyundai has launched the all-new Venue in Nepal. The Venue’s 2022 iteration comes with some notable design changes, but the powertrain remains untouched with only a petrol fuel option. Hyundai has offered the new SUV in three variants: the E, the S, and the SX—at a starting price of Rs 39.96 lakh.

Design

The all-new Venue gets a new front fascia that features a new parametric jewel grille (like the 2022 Palisade), which extends to the indicators, and a new set of LED headlights with DRLs. And on the rear, the SUV comes with a new LED horizontal light bar that connects to the revised tail lights. Furthermore, the car has been offered in six different colours: Typhoon silver, Titan grey, Denim blue, Fiery red, Polar white, and Phantom black.

Inside, the SUV comes with a dual-tone (black and greige) themed cabin and leather-upholstered seats, among which the driver seat is four-way adjustable and the rear seats get a two-step reclining and 60:40 split feature. The dashboard features a three-spoke steering wheel with mounted controls, a digital instrument console with colour TFT MID, and an eight-inch infotainment system that is integrated with BlueLink technology, which provides 60+ features.

Engine

The new Venue comes with the same engine specifications as its predecessors and is offered in two engine options: a 1.2L naturally aspirated petrol engine and a 1.0L turbocharged petrol engine.

The 1.2L petrol engine–mated to a five-speed manual transmission–generates a peak power of 82 hp and a peak torque of 113.8 Nm, and the 1.0L turbocharged petrol engine, paired with a seven-speed DCT, produces a maximum power of 118 hp and a maximum torque of 172 Nm.

Furthemore, the SUV is offered in three riding modes: Normal, Eco, and Sport.
