Hyundai set to launch the 2023 Grand i10 Nios at Rs 29.96 lakh
Hyundai is readying to launch the 2023 Grand i10 Nios in the Nepalese market. The new Grand i10 Nios will come with revised design, whereas its mechanical specifications remain untouched. The company claims that the new hatchback will be offered in three variants: the Era, the Magna, and the Sportz–at a base price of Rs 29.96 lakh.
Design and features
The new Grand i10 Nios measures 3815 mm in length, 1680 mm in width, 1520 mm in height, and it has a wheelbase of 2450 mm, which makes the hatchback around 10 mm longer than the outgoing model.

The facelifted hatchback features new design elements such as a redesigned larger grille, projector halogen headlights, tri-arrow-shaped LED DRLs, 15-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, and a new tail lights setup (where the LED tail lights are connected by a horizontal light bar).

The new Grand i10 Nios will come with new features such as cruise control, rear A/C vents, an eight-inch touchscreen head-unit (compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, voice recognition, wireless smartphone charging, and USB charging port, among others. For safety, the hatchback gets 4 airbags as standard, emergency stop signal, TPMS, hill-start assist control, electronic stability control, vehicle stability management, parking assist with rear parking sensors and rear camera.
Powertrain
The new Grand i10 Nios shares the same powertrain as that of the outgoing models. The hatchback comes powered by the same 1.2-litre Kappa petrol engine that produces a peak power of 82 hp at 6000 rpm and a peak torque of 114 Nm at 4000 rpm. For transmission, the engine comes mated to either a five-speed manual transmission or AMT.

Hyundai 2023 Grand i10 Nios price in Nepal
Laxmi Intercontinental Pvt. Ltd, the official distributor of Hyundai vehicles in Nepal, is planning to launch the facelifted Grand i10 Nios. Even though its launch date is yet to be known, the company reveals to offer the hatchback in three variants: the Era, the Magna, and the Sportz–at a base price of Rs 29.96 lakh and it goes up to Rs 37.96 lakh.
