Hyundai Motor has finally unveiled its CRETA, based on Chinese iX25 in the Auto Expo India 2020.
The new gen Creta will be powered by a 1.4 litre turbocharged petrol engine giving out 140 BHp or a 1.5 litre petrol engine giving 115 BHp and a 1.5 turbocharged diesel engines giving 115 bhp mated with 6 speed manual transmission with a CVT and 7 speed dual clutch transmission.
Creta gets various design from the Hyundai Venue such as the large grille with a split headlamp setup and LED DRLs. The rear of the SUV also gets a split tail lamp setup like headlamps as well as a new tailgate and new fog lamps below. The exterior also includes a flying C- pillar, new 17 inch diamond cut alloy wheels and the unique layout of the Creta emblem at the rear.
Creta utilizes and is based on the new Kia Seltos but bigger in sizes, it is 30 mm longer, 10 mm wider and 20 mm longer wheelbase. However these both models have an identical wheelbase and it is also assumed that it will be more spacious than the existing model.
The new Creta has a 10.4 inch touchscreen central console that can control both the infotainment and climate control. It also includes car tech, digital dials, Android auto and apple car play, adaptive cruise control and ambient lighting and a panoramic sunroof.
