Hyundai unveils off the new sub- compact SUV “AURA”
Hyundai has finally unveiled the official look of Grand i10 Nios based AURA sub 4 meter Sedan, the new AURA is expected to compete with Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Honda Amaze, Volkswagen Ameo and TATA Tigor. Besides that the price of the new sub 4 meter sedan is expected to be higher than the Xcent.

Hyundai AURA is equipped with a BS-6 complaint engine both petrol and diesel engines. There will be a 81bhp, 1.2L Kappa dual VTVT petrol and a 1.0L turbocharged GDi petrol motor. Hyundai AURA is the first car to be equipped with the turbocharged GDi petrol motor in its segment.It is offered with 5 and 6 speed transmission and an AMT gearbox, the diesel version of sub 4 meter sedan can produce upto 74 bhp and 190nm.

The Aura’s twin boomerang DRLs and grille are more similar to the Euro-spec i10 than the Nios. The honeycomb grille is surrounded in black plastic or matte silver where as the lower part of the grille extends all the way down to the body coloured aero lip on the bumper. The Aura retains its stablemate’s blacked-out C-pillars. Its tailgate curves upward to meet the roofline. The headlamps and foglamps are projector units and taillamps have LED elements.
It is equipped with several segment-first features such as an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity, Arkamys premium sound system, wireless charging, 5.3 digital speedomeater and multi information display. Also it has a wireless phone charger and rear view monitoring camera equipped on it

The AURA gets a unique driving rear view monitor for rear view display on screen. The list includes iBlue audio remote smart phone app, air curtain, eco coating, outside chrome door handle and premium cabin with bronze colour inserts.
