Hyundai Venue Knight Edition launched at INR 9.99 lakh in India

Hyundai has launched the all-new Venue Knight Edition for the Indian market. The new Knight Edition Venue comes with minor design changes and added features, whereas the mechanical specifications remain the same as the standard Venue models. The company has offered the new SUV in three variants—the S (O), the SX, and the SX (O)—at a starting price of INR 9.99 lakh.

Design

The new Knight Edition Venue gets a similar design as the outgoing Venue models; however, it comes with minor design changes, which include a blacked-out finish along with brass-finished inserts on the front grille, alloy wheels, skid plates, and roof rails, depending on the variants. Furthermore, the SUV features a blacked-out brand logo all over the car. The company has offered the Venue in five different colours: Abyss Black (only in Knight Edition), Atlas White, Titan Gray, Fiery Red, and a dual-tone Fiery Red with an Abyss Black roof. Inside, the Knight Edition Venue gets an all-black interior with brass-coloured inserts. The dashboard features a flat-bottom steering wheel with mounted controls, a digital instrument console with TFT MID, and either an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system or an eight-inch HD infotainment system, depending on the variants.

Powertrain

The Knight Edition Venue has been offered in two petrol engine options: a 1.2-liter naturally-aspirated petrol engine and a 1.0-liter turbo-petrol engine. The 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine generates a peak power of 81 hp and a peak torque of 113.8 Nm. For transmission, the engine is mated to a five-speed manual transmission. Meanwhile, the 1.0-liter turbo-petrol engine is capable of producing a peak power of 118 hp and a peak torque of 172 Nm. For transmission, the engine is mated to either a six-speed manual transmission, an iMT (intelligent manual transmission), or a seven-speed DCT.

Features

The new Knight Edition Venue comes with new notable features such as a dashcam with a dual camera and an auto-dimming rear-view mirror, along with the same notable features as the outgoing Venue models, which include ABS with EBD, ESC, brake assist system, vehicle stability management, hill assist control, central locking, tyre pressure monitoring system (highline), rear parking assist, electric sunroof, paddle shifters, driving modes (Normal, Eco, and Sport), power windows, AC, cruise control, remote engine start with smart key, air purifier, wireless phone charger, OTA updates, height adjustable driver’s seat, 60:40 split rear seats, and idle stop and go, among others.

Hyundai Venue Knight Edition price in Nepal

Hyundai India has launched the all-new Venue Knight Edition in three variants– the S(O), the SX, and the SX (O)–at a starting price of INR 9.99 lakh and it goes up to INR 13.48 lakh. There is no official news regarding its launch in Nepal yet, but the fans can expect it to come at a base price of Rs 45-50 lakh here.
