Hyundai’s working on modern premium micro-SUV

Hyundai company is working on a micro SUV, it is an upcoming model which will be based on new Santro’s platform majorly known with a code name AX. The new micro SUV is expected to launch in 2021/22 besides that it is likely expected to show up in the Auto Expo. It will be similar to Suzuki Ignis.

The upcoming Hyundai AX micro SUV is expected to be priced in the range of INRs 4 lakhs – 6 lakhs. With the modern-premium positioning in the market, it would definitely make this model a more premium product and better equipped than its key rivals.

As Similary to Hyundai Santro it is expected to include 1.1 litre naturally aspirated four cylinder unit delivering 69 PS power and 99 NM torque. Where the transmission options is expected to include 5 speed manual and 5 speed automated manual units. The AX as said by Hyundai will be placed below the Hyundai Venue as the company’s smallest and affordable SUV. Futher details still to be unveiled.
