Jagdamba Motors to Introduce Proton Brand in Nepal

Jagdamba Motors under Shankar Group has been specified to handle the official dealership of Malaysian company Proton. The company is set to bring a new international brand in Nepal adding an extra option to the four-wheeler buyers in the market. Jagdamba Motors will take charge of sales, service, and spare parts for the brand after its launch in the domestic market.

As per the media, the Proton Saga sedan will be the first model from Malaysian automobile company Proton that will roll out in the country. The ‘Proton Saga’ is believed to be delivered from the showroom in Gairidhara, Naxal for now. However, the company is dedicated to a long-term strategy to start its dealers and service centers in Pokhara, Biratnagar, Birgunj, Dhangadhi, Nepalgunj, Itahari, and other cities. Furthermore, Jagdamba Motors aim to import other popular models of the brand in the upcoming days following the likes and demand in the Nepalese market.

The two- and three-wheeler seller, Jadgamba has been successful in the Nepalese market referring to the quality service and relationships spread across the country through TVS. The company claims to keep Proton in similar priority and effort and believe that it will take a peak of success similar to TVS.
