Kawasaki Ninja ZX-25 R launches in Japan
Kawasaki Ninja ZX-25 R has been launched in Japan, it’s said that there are few differences between the Indonesian-spec model and Japanese spec model.

Major difference were seen on its engine specification, Ninja ZX-25 R is powered by a 249cc powerplant is a water-cooled unit which features a DOHC setup and electronic throttle valves. In Japan it delivers max power of 42 PS (without ram-air) and 46PS (with ram-air) @ 15,500 rpm. Max torque produced is 21 NM @13,000 rpm. Where as the Indonesian spec delivers max power of 51 PS (with ram-air) and max torque of 22.9 NM. In Comparison Indonesian spec model it delivers 5 PS less power (both with and without ram-air) and 1.9 NM less torque. Reason behind reducing the power and torque is due to strict emission norms in Japan. In-terms of weights Japanese spec model weighs 183 kg where as Indonesia spec weighs 180 kg.

The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-25 R is offered with two variants : Base & SE Edition. It includes two power modes, three-mode traction control system and high-specification underpinnings.It has used its World SBK knowledge to design the motorcycle’s all-new Trellis frame. Kawasaki has incorporated high-performance radially-mounted monobloc calliper for the front brake. The key electronic features of the Ninja ZX-25R include KTRC (Kawasaki Traction Control), KQS (Kawasaki Quick Shifter), USB charging port under the seat, frame sliders, smoked windscreen, and rim tapes as standard which is available on with the SE model. The USB charging port hasn’t been offered in the Indonesian spec model though.

Ninja ZX-25 R has been priced at the starting rate of 825,000 JP¥ for Base variant and 913,000 JP¥ for SE Edition. In Indonesia, the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-25R is available in two variants – Standard and Special Edition. The Standard variants has been priced at IDR 96,000,000 whereas the Special Edition is priced at IDR 112,900,000
