Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R 2019
Kawasaki has just revealed a few details of its upcoming 2019 Ninja ZX-6R. The supersport motorcycle has been redesigned and receives updated electronics. The styling of the 2019 Ninja ZX-6R borrows elements from the Ninja 400. The bike also has new fairings and decals that help separate it from the older model. A sharply-raked tail completes its aggressive design. According to the leaked details, the new ABS-equipped 2019 ZX-6R will weigh 196kg, as compared to the 194kg of the outgoing ABS-equipped model. The increase in weight is due to the heavier catalytic converter. There is also a drop in the top speed; while the older model did 260kph, the upcoming model is rated at 248kph. This is likely down due to a change in gearing, which means that even though top speed has reduced, the rate of acceleration may actually be quicker.
