KTM 390 Adventure launches in India

KTM has officially launch its 390 Adventure in India at the price INRs 2.99 lakhs. Official booking are underway and deliveries of these motorcycle are expected to begin in few days in India.

390 Adventure has been a long waited motorbikes from the day it was revealed, for those of you hearing the name for the first time well in brief KTM 390 Adventure is powered by a 373cc single cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. About BS-6 emission, well the BS-6 compliant engine produces max power of 43 Bhp @ 9000 rpm and 37 NM of torque @ 7000rpm. It has a bi-directional quick-shifter as a standard feature and a 6 speed gearbox.

KTM 390 ADV runs on a front 100/90-19 and rear 130/80-17 Metzeler Tourance tyres. The trellis frame is suspended on WP suspension (170mm upfront and 177mm rear) on both ends, in Global market it comes with adjustable suspension setup but with the Indian Spec model it will get a non-adjustable 43 mm USD fork upfront units and a adjustable rear monoshock suspension. However the braking hardware is similar to the 390 Duke.

What cool features are added to the new KTM 390 Adventure? Well the new ADV bike is loaded with new features such as : switchable traction control, off-road ABS, cornering ABS, a quickshifter, optional turn-by-turn navigation, KTM MyRide smartphone connectivity other to that it gets digital instrument cluster, full-colour TFT display screen, LED lights and Bluetooth connectivity as same to the current KTM models.

This KTM Adventure will be competiting with BS-6 compliant Himalayan, BMW G 310 GS and Kawasaki Versys X-300. We can expect the KTM 390 Adventure for Nepal to share same platform of Indian spec model. Besides that we expect this ADV bike to launch in Nepal real soon as it has already made its way to India.
