BS-6 emission norms has taken over all the autovehicles similar to that KTM India has updated it entire lineup to meet the BS-6 emission norms. All the product line up has received few changes and additional features. BS-6 compliant KTM line up starts from INRs 1,38,041.
Among all the KTM product line up KTM 200 has received a major changes . The new BS-6 compliant KTM 200 gets a new styling, and a increased tank capacity that is 13.5 litres previously it was 10.2 litres. With the new updates the KTM Duke 200 has a same design as of the 250 Duke. It has same 199.5 cc single cylinder engine that generates 25 HP power and torque of 19.3 NM, 0.83 PS and 0.2 NM lesser than BS-4 model. Besides that it now gets a revised trellis frame that uses a bolt-on sunframe. It will be available in 2 shades : Electronic Orange and Ceramic White.
The KTM 250 Duke is now equipped with Dual-channel ABS and Supermoto mode as standard. The bike also gets a open cartridge upside-down WP forks, slipper clutch, pre-load adjustable mono shocks rest mechanicals remains same as the previous model. Powered by 248.8 cc motor which produces 30 PS of power and 24 NM of torque similar to previous ones.
The 390 KTM will be offered by a Bi-directional quick shifter and a new paint schemes : Silver Metallic and Ceramic White. The 390 is almost similar to the previous ones. The Bi-directional quick shifter helps to upshift / downshift without using clutch. Apart from that its gets ride by wire, slipper clutch, TFT display, LED headlamps. Powering the 390 is also same it uses BS6 373.3 cc single cylinder, 4-valve liquid cooled FI engine at produces power of 43 bhp @9000 rpm and 36 NM of torque @ 7000 rpm.
The 2020 RC 390 also gets some cosmetic changes and colour options, it gets a projector headlamps, slipper clutch and ride by wire technology. To power 390 it has BS-6 373.3 cc single cylinder generating 43.5 HP of power and 36 NM of torque same as its streetfighter. Where as the RC200 also gets a dual channel ABS units. The RC 200 is powered a 199.5 cc single cylinder producing 25 HP of power and 19.2 NM of torque.
KTM also has updated its 125 line up, the 125 cc twins has been given a mild cosmetic updates. Powering is similar to the previous ones that is a 124.7 cc motor producing 14.5 HP power and 12 NM torque. The 125 Duke retains the same colours but RC 125 gets a new glossy- white colour scheme and new graphics.
With all the intake of BS-6 emission norms in India we hope to see these BS-6 compliant KTM lineup series in Nepal as it is one of the most preferred auto vehicles in Nepal.
