LeEco Le S3 soon to be launched in Nepal

LeEco, a Chinese smartphone OEM, is looking to officially enter Nepal with their mid-tier smartphone the LeEco Le S3. Finally, after years of waiting for the brand and the phone, it is officially coming to Nepal. Here are some of the things the phone brings to the table for an estimated price of around Rs 20,000.

The LeEco Le S3 packs a 5.5 inch Full HD IPS display with a pixel density of 401PPI. The phone comes encased in a metallic shell which looks and feels premium. Protecting the display from any cracks and scratches is a Gorilla Glass 3. Under the hood, the Le S3 packs an octa-core Snapdragon 652 processor along with the Adreno 510 GPU. The processor is backed by 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Sadly, the phone doesn’t support storage expansion via a micro-sd card. The phone, however, does support dual sim-cards and 4G connectivity.

In the camera department, the Le S3 packs a f/2.0 16MP rear camera along with a dual-tone LED flash. The phone also has a f/2.2 8MP front camera for all your selfies. The LeEco Le S3 also comes equipped with a fingerprint scanner embedded into its back panel. Other sensors include an accelerometer, compass, proximity sensor and a gyroscope. Software wise, the phone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Le Eco’s own custom skin, E UI over laid on top of it. And finally powering this device all up is a 3000mAh non-user removable battery. This will be enough to get users a full day worth of battery life without any issues. And if the battery does run out there is the inclusion of Quick Charge 3.0 and USB Type-C connector.

It is always great to see more and more competition in the smartphone market of Nepal. The LeEco Le S3 brings some decent specs and feature set in a premium looking body. If you are in the market for a good smartphone under Rs 25,000 then you should definitely consider the LeEco Le S3.
