The Nissan Magnite and the Renault Kiger are launched in Nepal and today, we will check Magnite Vs Kiger and help you choose the best option. The Magnite was the most affordable subcompact SUV here with an introductory price of Rs 29.44 lakh. However, the SUV couldn’t enjoy the title for a long time as the Kiger launched with an amazing introductory price of Rs 28.49 lakh.

We bring you the Nissan Magnite and the Renault Kiger specs merged together to deliver a clear distinction on your decision. Without any further ado, let’s get into it.

Design and Interior

Although based on the same platform, these two SUVs have completely different designs and interiors. The Magnite has a rugged boxy look, but the Kiger features a crossover-ish character and shares a resemblance to Kwid.

The interior of the Nissan Magnite has a dual-tone theme with stitched-fabric seats, wide hexagonal air-conditional vents positioned on the top of the dashboard, and a fully digital 7-inch TFT instrument cluster. The rear seats have a huge couple seat distance of 700 mm, rear knee room of 593mm, and rear headroom of 76mm; it can be folded 60/40 for the extended boot space.

Similarly, the Renault Kiger comes with sophisticated yet rich features such as an 8-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system, a 7-inch digital instrument console, climate control, engine start-stop, steering mounted controls, and more. The SUV also gets the Arkamays 3D sound system, wireless charging, and rear AC vents with a 12-volt charging slot. The SUV’s practical cabin offers multiple storage options: glove box storage (which has two separate compartments), door bins (which easily fits a 1-litre bottle), and massive armrest storage spaces.

The SUVs are based on the same CMFA+ platform that underpins the  Renault Triber and Renault Kwid. Therefore, the engine, power, and torque of the SUVs are similar. Nevertheless, the Kiger is one step ahead because the standard petrol engine is offered with an additional automatic gearbox option, which is not the case in the Magnite.
