Mahindra delivers all its E20 Plus EVs at same old price
Agni Energy Pvt. ltd the authorized dealer for Mahindra, handed over all its 14 units of E20 Plus to the customers before the budget announcement today at the same old price. Currently we have Mahindra Electric E2o Plus P4 and P6 in Nepalese market.

This EV is powered by a 210 AH lithium-ion battery which generates max power of 41 bhp @3,500 rpm and max torque of 91 NM @2,500 rpm. The E20 claims to deliver driving range of 140 KM at a top speed of 85 KM/hr. It takes about 9 hours to fully charge the battery which is 4 hrs added against that of the e20.
Previously Nepal Government had levied 10% customs duty, 13% VAT and 4% road tax on EVs. The Finance Minister of Nepal currently increased the 10% tax on custom duty to 80% and earlier excise duty was not levied on electric vehicles, but now it has been levied on excise duty up to 80 percent. The road construction fee has also been increased from 4 percent to 5 percent. With the increase in taxation policies we can expect a hike in prices of EVs in Nepal. Previously the Mahindra E20 was being sold at Rs 22,60,000 and now it is expected to be around Rs 33,00,000.
