Mahindra launches the XUV300 TurboSport at Rs 42.95 lakh in Nepal
Mahindra & Mahindra has launched its much-awaited SUV–the XUV300 TurboSport–in the Nepalese market. The new XUV300 TurboSport comes with new design elements and it is powered by a powerful 1.2 mStallion TGDi engine. The new SUV is offered in four trims: the W4, the W6, the W8, and the W8 (O)–at a starting price of Rs 42.95 lakh and it goes up to Rs 60 lakh.
Design
The silhouette of the new TurboSport models remains identical to that of the outgoing XUV300. However, the new SUV comes with new sporty design elements such as gloss black grille with red inserts, new ‘Twin peak’ logo, and all-black ORVMs. Furthermore, the SUV’s is offered in three new dual-tone colour options:Blazing Bronze with a black rooftop, Napoli Black with a white rooftop, Pearl White with a black rooftop, along with three monotone colour options: Blazing Bronze (new), Pearl White, and Napoli Black.

Inside, the SUV comes with all-black interior and leatherette-upholstered seats. Among the seats, the driver’s seat is height adjustable and the second-row seats come with a 60:40 split feature. Other notable interior features are its silver accents in the dashboard and centre console, chrome-finish pedals, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, adjustable headrest, and sunroof, among others.
Powertrain
The XUV300 TurboSport is powered by the new 1.2-litre mStallion TGDi petrol engine–mated to a six-speed manual transmission–that produces a maximum power of 128 hp at 5000 rpm and a maximum torque of 230 Nm at 1500-3750 rpm. According to the company, the new engine is 35% more efficient than its competitors, and the SUV can accelerate from 0-60 kmph in 5 seconds.

Features
The XUV300 TurboSport models get a 5-star G NCAP safety rating and 4-star child safety rating. Furthermore, the SUV boasts other safety features such as four disc brakes, front parking sensors, six airbags, ESP with hill start assist, ABS, passenger airbag deactivation switch, ISOFIX seats, and Corner Braking Control (CBC), among others.
For convenience, the new SUV comes with LED lightings, rain sensing wipers, auto headlamps, rear parking camera with adaptive guidelines, 7-inch feather-touch infotainment with BlueSense Connect feature, electrically adjustable and foldable ORVMs, and MicroHybrid technology, among others.

Agni Incorporated Pvt.Ltd, the authorised dealer of Mahindra vehicles in Nepal, has launched the XUV300 TurboSport at a starting price of Rs 42.95 lakh and it goes up to Rs 60 lakh. The SUV serves as a rival to the Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Renault Kiger, Nissan Magnite and Tata Nexon.
