Mahindra launches the XUV700 at Rs 74 lakh

Mahindra has launched its much-anticipated flagship SUV–the XUV700–in the Nepalese market. The XUV700 comes with premium features, both five or seven seater configuration, but gets only the petrol engine option. The new mid-size SUV has been offered in three variants: the AX3, the AX5, and the AX7–at a starting price of Rs 74 lakh.

Design

The XUV700 gets a bold and rugged design. The front fascia features a new grille with Mahindra’s new logo and LED headlights with C-shaped LEDs. And on the rear, the SUV gets split arrow-shaped tail lights. Furthermore, the car has been offered in five different colours: Everest White, Midnight Black, Dazzling Silver, Red Rage, and Electric Blue.

Inside, the SUV now comes with a larger cabin and more comfortable seats with premium upholstery. The dashboard features a three-spoke steering wheel with mounted controls, a 10.25-inch digital instrument console, and a 10.25-inch infotainment system that is compatible with both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Engine

The XUV700 is powered by a 2.0-litre Turbo Petrol with Direct Injection (TGDI) engine that generates a peak power of 197 hp at 5000 rpm and a peak torque of 380 Nm between 1750-3000 rpm. The engine is mated to either a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission.

Features

The XUV700 boasts a five-star Global NCAP ratings, and it comes with safety features such as seven airbags, ABS with ESP, ISOFIX, smart-pilot assist, forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, adaptive cruise control, traffic-sign recognition, high-beam assist, lane-keep assist, driver-drowsiness detection, electronic parking brake, and TPMS.

For convenience, the SUV comes equipped with notable features such as six-way powered drive seat with memory and welcome retract, third-row one-touch tumble entry and flat-folded seats, advanced high torsional rigidity, auto headlamps, auto rain-sensing wipers, and wireless charging, among others. 

Mahindra XUV 700 price in Nepal

Agni Incorporated Pvt.Ltd, the authorised distributor of Mahindra vehicles in Nepal, has launched the XUV 700 at a base price of Rs 74 lakh and it goes up to 1.10 crore.
