Mercedes Benz teases new T-Class Compact van

Mercedes Benz has teased a new T-Class small van segment.
Chief Design Officer, Gorden Wagener says, “With the T-Class’ new layout and design, we achieve a fusion of functionality and desirability. ” He also adds  “With our unique design philosophy of Sensual Purity, we create an attractive family companion being the T-Class inspiring with its design, proportions and its perceived value.”

T-Class model will be positioned after the mid-size V-Class when it launches in the first half of 2022. The T-Class van is aimed for families and ride sharing services.

In addition to the regular internal combustion engines, the T-Class is also said to launch with a fully-electric powertrain, which should widen its appeal with customers in search of a zero-emission minivan, while also keeping it viable for years to come.
